The biggest Ecommerce mistakes in 2026 is hiding key information like: Shipping costs, Develivery times or Return policies.
We find them buried way to deep into the experience. Users don't really like surprising. If they don't really understand the total commitment that they putting into the product, how much is it actually cost them, they just leave and you don't really want that. Be intentional about your information the key ones and make it very clear from the get-go.
Brands should prioritize transparency, adopt mobile-first design, and base UX decisions on data, usability testing, and real user feedback.
The most common UX issue that we still see in 2026 is teams taking design decisions that are based on internal opinions rather than actual user behavior. Now, we are seeing a lot of improvement with teams taking UX into consideration but in 2026 we want to lead those decisions with : Data, Usability testing, User Behavior, User feedback, rather than taking those decisions based on personal preferences.
