Hanna Andersson

Datmos partnered with Hanna Andersson, a leading children's apparel brand, to modernize their marketing infrastructure and build stronger loyalty and lifecycle programs. The project centered on a full platform migration to Bloomreach: executed in 3 phases: trigger migration, journey enrichment, and ongoing strategic partnership.

About Client

Hanna Andersson is a children’s apparel brand with a more than forty-year legacy built on quality, trust, and long-term relationships with families. Its loyalty program, Hanna Rewards, exceeds one million members and accounts for the majority of total revenue. This loyalty-led business model makes customer engagement not a supporting function, but a core operating system that directly influences retention, repeat purchasing, and lifetime value across generations of customers.

The Challenge

Hanna Andersson faced a CDP challenge: customer data was fragmented and siloed, making it difficult to build a unified customer profile or trigger coherent lifecycle communications. Without a single source of truth, behavioral segmentation was constrained, personalization was limited, and automation logic could not support shoppers across the full lifecycle. As the business continued to grow, Hanna saw an opportunity to create a more connected customer experience through improved data unification.

Solution Architecture

Datmos led the structured migration of Hanna Andersson's trigger programs into Bloomreach Engagement, bringing implementation discipline and platform depth as Certified Bloomreach Platinum Partners. The work went beyond a technical lift-and-shift. Each trigger was audited, rebuilt, and enriched to meet current lifecycle standards, covering welcome flows, post-purchase sequences, and retention programs across the full customer journey. Datmos defined audience logic, and testing gates to ensure every trigger was production-ready and built to scale. An embedded collaboration model kept strategy and execution aligned throughout, turning the migration into a foundation for stronger loyalty and lifecycle programs.

Trigger migration to Bloomreach for North American children's apparel

Datmos led the structured migration of Hanna Andersson's trigger programs from their legacy email service provider into Bloomreach Engagement, rebuilding each automation with greater precision and lifecycle intent. Every trigger was audited, reconfigured, and tested before launch: covering naming conventions, audience logic, and quality gates to ensure production-ready delivery.

Core triggers including abandoned cart, price drop, low stock were migrated to establish a reliable foundation. The result was a scalable trigger ecosystem built to support loyalty and lifecycle programs with consistency across channels.

Lifecycle trigger optimization and customer journey enrichment

With the migration complete, Datmos evaluated and enriched each scenario to ensure proper coordination across triggers and batch sends. Hierarchy and performance were verified, logic adjusted, and activation gaps closed, including net-new trigger frameworks such as notify me back, and data-driven social proof layers embedded into conversion emails to increase relevance and purchase confidence. Datmos then documented all scenario logic implemented in Bloomreach for full transparency and future reference. A forward-looking roadmap was developed, mapping the current customer journey against a defined future state, with a phased testing plan covering both creative and logic updates. Requirements for subsequent phases were detailed to enable a smooth handoff to Hanna Andersson's Automations Manager.

Ongoing CRM strategic partnership and lifecycle program evolution

The engagement was structured as a continuous partnership, not a one-time delivery. Datmos worked alongside Hanna Andersson's CRM team in a steady cycle of planning, testing, review, and optimization, keeping CRM activity aligned with commercial priorities and key retail moments including Black Friday. Performance was reviewed regularly, learnings applied methodically, and new lifecycle opportunities introduced as the business evolved. This embedded collaboration model ensured the trigger ecosystem remained adaptive, data-driven, and oriented toward long-term customer value rather than short-term volume.

Results & Business Impact

Hanna Andersson now operates a fully optimized CRM engine designed to nurture prospects, strengthen loyalty, and maximize customer lifetime value. The migration to Bloomreach Engagement unlocked deeper automation, richer segmentation, and more relevant lifecycle communication. With a disciplined framework and continuous partnership in place, the brand is positioned for sustained, loyalty-driven growth. CRM has shifted from a constrained toolset to a durable operating system, one that supports long-term customer relationships, reinforces competitive advantage, and enables growth that is repeatable, measurable, and resilient over time.

If your CRM platform limits how deeply you can personalize, automate, or support loyalty at scale, it is no longer just a tool. It is a constraint.

Datmos helps teams redesign CRM foundations so customer value, not system limitations, sets the pace for growth.
