Micro Center: Campaign of the Year

Campaign of the Year goes to the team that conceived and executed a campaign with measurable revenue impact and a new standard for innovation. It's the award a CMO puts in their board deck.

Micro Center introduced a new event-driven campaign alongside its daily newsletters, delivering messages only when new content genuinely matches a contact's interests, with Datmos as the agency behind the build. The program lifted engagement well above Micro Center's classic campaign benchmark, proving that content, traffic, and audience intelligence could be unified into one activation layer rather than three disconnected systems.

The challenge

Micro Center wanted to capitalize on its high-quality editorial content by increasing its visibility within the Micro Center community, using a more editorial experience that promotes content based on customer interests rather than product offers. That meant connecting three systems that had never spoken to each other: editorial content, traffic behavior data, and Bloomreach's segmentation engine. Datmos built the connective infrastructure itself, an RSS feed turning every blog article into a structured Bloomreach catalog item, a daily scenario that verifies and activates new articles, and dynamic segmentation based on each contact's affinity to article categories and website behavior. A reusable base email template then pulls that content, imagery, and related product recommendations straight from the catalog, so every newsletter send is fully dynamic, personalized, and current, with no manual campaign building required.

La Maison Simons: Personalization of the Year

Personalization of the Year goes to the team that turned data and audience intelligence into experiences that actually feel personal at scale, whether through dynamic content and segmentation across channels, or through search results, recommendations, and product discovery tailored to individual shoppers.

La Maison Simons, commonly known as Simons, is a family-owned Canadian department store retailer founded in 1840 in Quebec City. It carries a mix of international designer labels and its own private brands across clothing, accessories, and home goods, and has expanded in recent years to major markets outside Quebec, including Toronto. Simons is known as much for the design of its physical stores as for its merchandise, and this award reflects that same intentionality extended into digital personalization.

Hanna Andersson: Customer Love

Customer Love goes to the brand that built something customers come back for, whether through loyalty programs, retention strategies, or lifecycle marketing that deepens relationships over time.

Hanna Andersson's customer data was fragmented and siloed, which left no single source of truth and automations that couldn't keep pace with a full-lifecycle, multi-audience business: parents shopping for boys, girls, and baby, often across more than one child and life stage. A Bloomreach migration became the start of a deeper partnership, with Datmos embedding as a direct extension of Hanna Andersson's CRM team, auditing every existing trigger against lifecycle best practice, and rebuilding what needed rebuilding rather than starting over, across three disciplined phases: trigger migration, journey enrichment, and ongoing strategic partnership. That is what Customer Love is meant to recognize: not a single campaign, but the lifecycle infrastructure that keeps customers coming back. It shows in the numbers behind Hanna Rewards, the brand's 1M+ member loyalty program, which drives the majority of Hanna Andersson's revenue and now reaches 6.6M U.S. subscribers.

The partnership keeps compounding. Datmos and Hanna Andersson are now building new touchpoints and a next-generation segmentation and loyalty strategy together.

American Meadows: Team of the Year

Team of the Year goes to the organization behind the work, from newly onboarded teams delivering fast results to established groups who built something extraordinary together that none of them could have done alone.

American Meadows is a gardening and seed retailer with a personalization challenge rooted in geography: what grows well in one climate zone fails in another, so a generic product recommendation doesn't serve any customer well. American Meadows came to Datmos with a specific requirement: personalize recommendations consistently across website and email. The team's solution was to infer each customer's growing zone from purchase and browsing behavior, then activate that same zone signal across product recommendations, post-purchase content, and A/B tests on product pages and cart, all using one underlying logic rather than three separate builds. That cross-functional execution is what earned the Team of the Year recognition, and it shows in the results: a zone-personalized variant reached a 17.9% conversion rate in one test, compared to 3.6% for the generic version.

What these wins have in common

Each of these brands has spent real time and budget on loyalty, CRM, and personalization, not as isolated projects, but as an ongoing discipline. The Edge Awards results are a public marker of what that discipline produces: measurable outcomes, judged by Bloomreach and peers across the industry.

We've shared some of that work already. Our recap of the Datmos x Bloomreach Edge Summit session digs into how American Meadows used zone-based personalization to move conversion from 3.6% to 17.9% on a tested variant, and how Rally House built one customer profile across every channel.

A milestone for Datmos

This recognition follows Datmos's own award as Bloomreach's AMER Partner of the Year. Taken together, our clients' wins and our own reflect the same standard: outcomes that hold up under scrutiny, not just activity.

Congratulations to the Micro Center, La Maison Simons, Hanna Andersson, and American Meadows teams. The results speak for themselves.
